His Mother used to make them all the time and they
were a big hit with the family.

Buckwheat pancakes
1/2 cup flour
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup buckwheat
2 tablespoon corn meal
1 egg
1 cup buttermilk
2 tablespoon sugar
2 tablespoon oil
