How You Look at Life

We skate and slide our way through life. Not much focus on anything, we miss so much fun and beauty because of our mind. For example, I had 5 minutes to get to the post office. It's March 11 and I live in Minnesota about 2 mile from Canada and 1.5 miles from post office, oh by the way the post office closes in 5 minutes. My wife and I have been learning to be Spiritual and learning about energy and you control your reality with your thoughts. So my wife noticed me getting a little anxiety about the post office. So she looks at me and reminds me, "Don't worry you'll make it, just relax  "So I  say "OK"  and left for the car. All the way to the post office I kept saying "I release my anxiety, I have plenty of time" Just as I come to the post office a Ambulance goes by and I pulled to the side of the road. So I  said "of all the days for this to happen" then I get to the one-way road to turn in parking lot and a car is coming out of the parking lot where I need to turn! "Of all the days" and that isn't  enough he was waiting on me to do something, I can't do anything until he goes and gets out of my way. Oh did I tell you I keep saying to myself " I release it, I got plenty of time" So he finally pulls out and leaves. I turn in the parking lot and park and start walking and thought of the five minutes and started to run and suddenly stop and said " I release it, I got plenty of time" and slowed down and walked up the steps into the doors  and walk up to the drop box and mailed my house payment. At that time the woman that works for the post office walked over with the keys to lock up the post office. Wow all of that in five minutes! My wife was on target. Thank you Universe and my wife...

Another one was, One morning I was running late for work. I normally start work at 6:00 am and it was 5:47 am it's about two and half miles. Again my wife says to me "calm down and breath" so I do and I head out to work taking my time and enjoying the drive and thinking "I get there on time So I get there and clock in at 6:00 and thinking how cool and my boss reminded me I wasn't due to be in til 8:00 am.

Tomato Bread

1. One loaf of french bread.
2. Garlic Butter.
3. Butter
4  Fresh tomato's
5. Mozzarella cheese

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.  Slice bread long ways and spread on garlic butter and then regular butter. If you don't have garlic butter, just add minced garlic to the butter. Slice tomato's to your desired thickness and lay on the buttered bread and cover with the Mozzarella cheese. Now you can bake it the way it is now or add anything else you would like on it. Like pepperoni, mushrooms, green peppers etc. Place on cookie sheet with aluminum foil. Bake till cheese browns slightly.
